 ENTRY DEADLINE:           Wednesday, January 27, 2021             for entries and Congressional bills

                                       Thursday, February 4, 2021                 for Participant Release forms, orations, oratory/ informative speaking verification forms, and interp verification form



Wednesday, February 3, 2021

2:00 p.m.                         Impromptu and Extemp Topics released to Coaches

9:00 p.m.                         Students upload video(s) to YouTube, complete google form with links, share links with coach

Thursday, February 4, 2021

5:00 p.m.                         Coaches deadline to add video links to competitor entries on TabRoom

9:00 p.m.                         Judges ballots/schedule released for asynchronous speech

Friday, February 5, 2021

8:00 a.m.                          Reminder to speech judges to press “Start Round”

12:00 noon                     Deadline to press “Start Round” for asynchronous speech (Penalty $10 per judge per round).

 Saturday, February 6, 2021

8:30 – 10:45 Round 1 Congress

11:30 – 1:45 Round 2 Congress

1:00                                    Deadline to complete preliminary speech judging (Penalty $10 per judge)

2:45                                    Speech judges check into the Judge’s Lounge for finals assignment

3:00                                    FINALS – Judges ballots/schedule released.

                                             Judges have 15 minutes to press “Start Round” before being replaced and schools fined

                                                      Judges have 90 minutes to submit their completed ballots

 * This schedule is tentative and may change based on number of entries.



         If the video link submitted is broken or leads to the wrong video (wrong student and/or wrong round) the competitor may be ranked last in that round.

         A $10 fine may be charged to the school for asynchronous judges who fail to press “START” by Friday noon, fail to return their ballots by Saturday 1 pm, or fail to show up in the judge’s lounge Saturday 3 pm for their final round assignment.
