(extemp prep will start at the beginning of each speech round, this may change, but since we have many extempers double entered in debate and as a result it makes it hard for us to do it any differently)

Fees:

50$ School Fee

10$ Solo events (LD, BQ, Congress, DI, HI, POI, USX, ISX, INFO)

15$ Dual Events (DUO, PF, Policy)

Missing judge fee 75$ (per entry)

We will be using NSDA Campus with Zoom as backup

Speech

All speech events will be held live with the exception of duo.

Duo will be split screen prerecorded.

We will be using the two-drop system for speech and debate

BQ:
BQ will run at the same time as the other debate events. BQ entry limit of 10 per school.

Topics:

We will be using the March/April LD topic

We will be using the March PF topic 

Judges:
For speech, you will need 1 judge for every 5 entries.

For debate, you will need 1 judge for every 2 entries within that event.

Coaches make sure to enter your student’s point so there have the 25 NSDA points necessary to compete.

Changes to 2021 Nationals

We can send 3 World Schools Teams to Nationals.

If your school competes at the district qualifier they will be allowed to send two entries in supplemental events to nationals! All supplementary events for nationals will be pre-recorded.

We will be getting an extra qualifier in most events.
