Hello and welcome!!

At the start of the new semester, we are excited that you are joining us to help kick off the Spring competitive season! It’s a new semester, and as we say here at Plano East: The Sun Always Rises in the East!

We are pleased to announce that we will be a NIETOC bid tournament! We will be offering all TFA events, including World Schools Debate, plus Prose and Poetry. All IE’s (except for Extemporaneous Speaking) will be asynchronous. Students may enter as many IE events as they like, and may cross enter with Debate -or- Congress and ONE Extemp. Congress and Extemp may cross enter (only one Extemp, as IX and DX will run concurrently), but Debate may not cross enter.

This tournament will be hosted by Classrooms.Cloud. Instructions for use can be found here. We will be using Tabroom for all ballots and postings. Please make sure all your judges and students have a TABROOM.COM account that is linked to your squad. If you have any questions on how to set this up, please email us and we will help you!

To ensure this tournament is an enjoyable and educational experience for your team, we promise to run as efficiently as possible, and we strive to provide quality judging for all events. We do ask, however, that you please try to provide as many qualified judges as possible to help the pool remain clean and competitive.
