Prattville Lions Classic     Speech and Debate Tournament

Dear Speech Colleagues,

The Prattville High School Speech and Debate Team is pleased to virtually host the Prattville Lion Classic Speech and Debate Tournament.  Consider this your special invitation to attend Friday and Saturday, November 20 and November 21, 2020. 

Our tournament will include the following I.E. events: Humorous, Dramatic, Poetry, Prose, POI, Original Oratory, Informative and Extemporaneous Speaking. All I.E. events will be synchronous.

We will also offer Novice categories in Public Forum and Lincoln Douglas as well as varsity; however, if novice categories do not make, we will collapse them with the Varsity events. We will debate the NSDA topics for November. NLD will also use the varsity topic.

LD - Resolved: The United States ought to provide a federal jobs guarantee.

PF - Resolved: The United States should adopt a declaratory nuclear policy of no first use.
