LHSSL November Classic

2020 — NSDA Campus, LA/US

The Executive Council of the Louisiana High School Speech League (LHSSL) is proud to offer the LHSSL November Classic - an online experience. We are happy to host the following events in OPEN DIVISION: Public Forum Debate, Congressional Debate, Declamation, Dramatic Interp., Extemporaneous Speaking, Humorous Interp., Impromptu Speaking, Oral Interp., Oratory, and Program Oral Interp.

We will also offer novice and advanced divisions of Policy Debate and Lincoln Douglas Debate.

Judge requirements - Because of the nature of virtual tournaments and the lack of community volunteers we had to increase our judging requirement for this tournament. Each debate entry requires 2 rounds of prelim judging. Speech requirements are 1 round of prelim judging per entry. All schools are obligated to have available judges 1 round past when their school is eliminated on Saturday. So all schools should have judges available for the first round of eliminations. If you are unavailable for a certain day or time slot please indicate in the comments. Maximum rounds per judge will be adjusted to meet the number of scheduled rounds during a judges available windows.
