Fill out and print or if you do not have a printer you can write and fill out by hand. We will use this to recognize you in round to speak and ask questions.

Schedule:

8:00- 8:30 AM - Check-in (Coaches, Competitors, & Judges)

8:30 - 9:00 AM PO meeting

8:30 - 9:00 A.M. Judges Instructions

9:00-11:00 AM Round 1

11:30-1:00 PM Round 2

1:30-3:00 PM Round 3

Announcement of winners ASAP

Entries: You must indicate whether your entry is a Novice (1st or 2nd congress), Junior Varsity (3rd or 4th congress), or Varsity (5th congress or more) entry. Varsity entries should expect to PO one round.

Fees: Pay TCFL dues.

Judges: Each school is obligated to provide one qualified judge per every 10 entries or fraction thereof.

Entry Deadline: Tuesday, October 6, 2020, by 11:55pm. Register at Tabroom.com. E-mail Jerome Robinson at jrobinson9812@att.net for any questions. Entries will only be accepted by coaches on contact sheet.  PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU DON'T SEE YOUR SCHOOL LISTED ON THE REGISTRATION PAGE, YOU'RE NOT ENTERED.

Because of the differences that exist in human perception, a subjective quality is present in the scoring of Speech and Debate rounds. Even with rules and evaluation criteria for guidance,  judges will not evaluate the same performance in an identical manner. While we do everything possible to maintain consistency in scoring, winning results are not guaranteed.
