Deadlines:
Student entries and judge names due on Tuesday, Sept 15 at 5:00 PM. There are NO DROP FEES, so just enter people by Tuesday, and drop them later if you need to :)

Round: 9:00 AM --12:00 PM

Offering both Varsity and Novice Congressional Debate
Legislation: Email to hflake@eastmountainhigh.net . One piece per school, maximum. Deadline: Friday, September 11 at 5:00 PM. Legislation pack will be emailed Saturday morning, and placed on this tabroom site. If school submissions are meagre, NSDA or EMHS written bills may be added.

Judges Required: Please provide at least one judge for every fifteen students you enter. I will likely not use every judge, so please just let me know if you're having a hard time finding someone. Judges are required to have a linked tabroom account so they can access the online ballots.

Judge Assignments: As this is a scrimmage, EMHS may assign varsity students to judge & parli (and PO, if needed) in novice chambers.
EMHS students will be participating in this scrimmage, but will not be eligible for awards.
Placards: Please have your students make their own placard, a folded in half (longways) piece of paper or cardstock with their last name on it in big letters.
Platform: Zoom
Procedure:
Coaches will receive an email Saturday morning (about 8:15) with zoom links for the different chambers. as well as chamber assignments. Coaches need to then forward these to their students. The rooms will open at 8:30 for caucusing.
Observation:
Coaches and assistant are welcome to enter the zoom rooms to observe. Parents may not enter the zoom rooms. Students who are not competing may not enter the zoom rooms. Just have the students sign up to compete if they want to experience a round!
