The Speech and Debate Teams at Canyon and Tascosa High Schools cordially invite you to attend the Canyon/Tascosa TFA/NIETOC Swing February 2-6, 2021. We will offer all TFA events, and will also offer Poetry and Prose. All IEs except for extemp will be asynchronous. Live rounds will take place on NSDA Campus. 

Students in asynchronous IEs may enter unlimited asynchronous IEs per tournaments. Extempers may only enter one division of extemp per tournament, and may not compete in Debate. Debaters may not enter extemp. Entries and drops are due by 5:00 pm, February 1. Links to all video performances for the asynchronous IEs should be posted by 1:00 pm on Tuesday the 2nd. 

Canyon Congress Prelims will use items 1-8

Tascosa Congress Prelims will use items 9-15

Canyon Congress Finals will use items 16-23

Tascosa Congress Finals will use items 24-30. 

In LD, and PFD we will be breaking straight to semis. If numbers warrant, the 5-8 ranked students from prelims will receive points based on the TFA 1 day IQT schedule.
