Dear Colleagues:

We invite you to attend the 43rd Ed Long Invitational held at The Hockaday School November 6-7, 2020. We are pleased to offer all TFA qualifying events, as well as prose and poetry.

We are typically a TOC qualifying tournament at the finals level for PFD, but under COVID conditions and entry numbers we might only have four preliminary rounds of PFD. We are a NIETOC qualifying tournament for all related events.

We will offer a novice division of LD, CX and PFD. If entries in the novice divisions are not sufficient to support the division we will collapse the novice division into the open field.

This year we will be offering the competition in an online environment utilizing the classrooms.cloud platform. All individual events, except for extemp, will be in an asynchronous format. Debate and extemp will be live events. We will not break bracket in varsity debate events.
