The Truman High School Speech and Debate team invites you to the Independence Winter Classic held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 4^th-6th. The Varsity Division will be hosted by Truman; a separate Novice Division will be hosted by William Chrisman. Please contact Shelia Holt for information regarding the Novice Division.

Registration is through Tabroom.com; you can find our tournament website here: http://iwc.tabroom.com.  Students and coaches should all be familiar with how to find and use this website. All participants must sign up for and subscribe to Live Updates for the relevant entries at the tournament. Please use the Tabroom.com wiki if you have any questions about this, or how to register etc. The tournament will use the National Speech and Debate Associations Campus program and its integration with tabroom.com

The 2020 Independence Winter Classic is a bid tournament to the prestigious Tournament of Champions in Individual Speech Events and Congressional Debate and a National Individual Events Tournament of Champions bid tournament.

*Entry fees waived in the Policy division for ALL out of state (Non-Mo) schools and Debate-KC teams. Schools must still cover their judging burden.
