2020 Minneapolis South Round Robin (3/28-3/29)

This tournament is invitation only - if you were not contacted previously by Oskar Tauring-Traxler then please do not register for this tournament

I am pleased to invite you to the 1st annual Minneapolis South Round Robin. As many of you are surely aware, the lack of easily accessibly second-semester tournaments, or any options post-February, makes preparing for the ToC difficult. This barrier is exacerbated for small squads. Given the concentration of highly talented teams in the Upper Midwest, I thought that organizing a late-season tournament would be a good opportunity for everyone to get some practice in before the ToC.

I sent out a poll to try to tailor the tournament to suit the needs of as many teams as possible, so if any of the details don’t work for you please let me know as soon as possible and I will try to modify things where I can.

The tournament will be held at Augsburg University. We will likely use rooms in Foss Hall – but I will confirm that closer to the tournament date. The address of that building is 625 22nd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55454 (make sure to pick up/drop off on 22nd ave or in the parking lot on the East side of the building)

Group Dinner:

Not compulsory, but I would like to organize a group dinner on Saturday night. If there is enough interest, I will make a reservation at Gandhi Mahal, a local favorite Indian restaurant. They have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options, and is pretty affordable.
