Pennsbury Falcon Invitational

2021 — Fairless Hills (Online), PA/US

Coaches,

It will come as no surprise that the Pennsbury Falcon Invitational will be held virtually this February. I'm sorry we cannot invite you to join us in Bucks County for our 18th annual tournament, but we will endeavor to maintain as much as possible of what makes our tournament great.

Due to the difficulty of competing from home, we need to adjust our schedule, and as such all events will begin Friday, February 5 and end on Sunday, February 7. We will use NSDA Campus/tabroom.com. We plan to begin rounds after school on Friday and at 9am (Eastern) both Saturday and Sunday. We hope to conclude competition by 9pm Friday and Saturday, and early enough on Sunday so that you can prepare for the Super Bowl (if there is one).

As always, we will offer competition in Policy, LD, PF, Congress, Declamation, Dramatic Performance (DI/HI combined), Duo, Extemp, Impromptu, Informative, Original Oratory, Poetry, Program Oral Interpretation, and Prose. PFI is a NIETOC bid tournament and a UK TOC bid tournament in Speech, a Semis bid tournament in Policy and PF, and a Top 6 bid in Congress.

We are going to hold off on many of the details of the tournament while we observe the first two months of the virtual season. We will post more details at the start of November with registration to open mid-November. Please see pennsburyfalcon.wordpress.com for more information on how we usually do things; the site will be updated as we make decisions for 2021.

Best of luck with the start of this bizarre school year and tournament season!
