2020 Elementary Congressional Debate Tournament - MOVED ONLINE

Bay Area Speech and Debate Academy staff is excited to announce that we will be running our YG Elementary Congressional Debate tournament for 3-5th grade students online, so that students may have the chance to compete. We know that they have all put in a great deal of work to prepare their speeches for the previously scheduled for March 21st tournament, and we want to give them the opportunity to put it to good use and shine in competition!

All students who have previously signed up for the March 21st tournament are automatically enrolled in the March 28th tournament.
Tournament Schedule:
9:00 - 9:30 AM Check into your virtual Congress Houses Online (link will be emailed to all competitors)
9:30 - 9:40 AM Tournament welcome with Bay Area Speech and Debate principal, Ms. Taisia, and academic director, Ms. Leah
9:45 - 11:00 AM Round 1
11:00 - 11:30 AM Break
11:30 AM - 12:45 PM Round 2
12:45 - 1:15 PM Break
1:15 - 2:30 PM Round 3
3:00 - 3:30 PM Results Announcement - trophies and medals will be handed out to the students when school is back in session.
