Saint Pauls Speech and Debate Tournament

2020 — Covington, LA/US

 Welcome

On behalf of the Faculty, Administration and Debate Team at Saint Paul's School I would like to invite you and your team to the 1st Saint Pauls Speech and Debate Tournament on Feb 7th and 8th.

Provided that there is sufficient participation in each category, the tournament will run a complete set of both speech and debate events, as well as Congress. The Extemp Topic Areas will be announced close to the date of the tournament.

Registration will take place in the Tab Room (Room 208--Main School Building) starting at 3:45pm on Friday and 7:00am on Saturday. The school day ends at 3:15, so most of the traffic should be cleared out by the time you arrive. There is ample parking on campus. Further information can be found on the "Directions, Campus Map, Key Locations" page.

There will be various food and drink items for sale throughout the tournament. Saint Paul's has a PJ's Coffee on campus, located in Benilde Hall. Moreover, we will have a concession stand and student area in the Briggs Assembly Center. If teams have any preference in terms of concessions, please do not hesitate to contact us so that, if possible, we can make them available. We ask that you please be mindful of any trash throughout the tournament so we can maintain a clean and orderly campus throughout the weekend.
