Inland Empire District Qualifier

for the 2020 National Tournament
Inland Empire National Qualifying Tournament
Chiawana High School
Pasco, WA
Sat 2/22 Sat 2/22 BQ DI DUO HOU HI INF LD OO CX POI USX
To compete at Districts your school must be a paid member with the NSDA and each student competing must be a paid member(with an email address listed). The number of entries you have is based on School Strength which is calculated by members and degrees so enter all your students and their round ranks from previous tournaments if you haven't already done so. We can help with that if you need it.

The tournament will be run on Tabroom.com and your roster must be linked to the NSDA roster to allow students to be entered. It will also tell you your strength and number of slots.

Check out the High School Unified Manual for more information

We are required to have at least 4 entries from 2 or more schools to hold speech and debate events except for BQ (10+) and Congress (16+).  Students may only enter 2 events in both speech and debate (also excluding BQ and Congress which can they can enter on top of their two).  Those two do not come from your limited entries based on strength. Congress has its own number and BQ is not limited.

Interp information must be filled out when registering your competitors. All sscripts must come from NSDA approved sources.

Students entered in more than one event must fill out a single-entry letter of intent. Students cannot compete in partner events with different partners. If a student qualifies in a partner event and a solo event, they must go in the partner event unless their partner also qualified in a solo event and they both mark the solo events as a priority on their single-entry letter of intent forms.
