    Your team is invited to attend our forensics tournament on Saturday, February 8th . Please send your entries and registration through TabRoom. I have a very, VERY small team this year so please plan to bring a judge or help judge an event your student isn’t in.

 I am basically running the tournament by myself.  The following events will be offered: informative (Info and Info10 combined) impromptu, original oration, extemporaneous speaking (students will be given a choice between foreign or domestic topics), serious solo, humorous solo, duet acting, poetry, and prose.

We DO NOT offer IDA.  I don’t have the resources to pull that off this year.

ENTRIES:  We will allow 20 entries per school. Max of 3 events per competitor, max of 2 draw events. The top 15 will count towards sweepstakes. Please mark these when you arrive.

FEES: $5.00 per entry, per event

MEDALS:  Medals will be given to the top 6 in each event

SWEEPSTAKES:  Sweepstakes trophy will be given to the top school.

SCHEDULE:  Registration:  7:00—7:45

7:45 - Extemp draw begins 

Round I  - 8:00

Round II - 9:30 

Round III  -11:00 

Lunch: 12:30-1:30

Finals:  1:45 

Awards: Grab and Go 

We have: Braums, Pizza Hut, Wendys, Subway, McDonald’s, and Lucky Star in town that are quick and easy for lunch. Please send in your entries to Tabroom.com—no later than February 5th.
