This is our last league debate before the state qualifiers.

Even though this tournament is in February, we will be using the MARCH topic for Public Forum--"Resolved: The United States should increase its use of nuclear energy for commercial energy production." and the MARCH-APRIL topic for LD Debate--"Resolved: Predictive policing is unjust." We do this in order to give students one practice tournament before the state qualifiers.

Please make sure you get entries in by the deadline on WEDNESDAY.

LEUZINGER HS is located at 4118 W Rosecrans Ave, Lawndale, CA 90260.

We will be striving towards a 4 round tournament. The following schedule is ASPIRATIONAL for planning purposes only. During the day, we will accelerate and modify as necessary to get done as quickly as possible.

Registration--8:00 AM

Judges Instructions--8:30 AM

Parli Prep--8:30 AM

Round 1: Debate--9-11AM

Round 2: Debate 11-1PM

Round 3: Debate 1PM-3PM

Round 4: Debate 3PM-5PM

Awards 5-5:30PM

The actual schedule will involve staggering events, as we have at other tournaments. How the events are staggered will depend on entry numbers. But schools should arrive at 8am and we will shoot to be done by 5:30PM.
