The third GGSA Parli/LD tournament of the school year will be held at San Ramon Valley High School in Danville on Saturday, January 11, 2020.

San Ramon Valley High School is located at 501 Danville Blvd, Danville, CA 94526.

DEADLINES

Entries are due by 5:00 PM on Friday the 3rd of January. Drops made by 5 p.m. on January 8 will pay half of the entry fee. After that point they will pay the full entry fee.

JUDGES

*All judges must be entered on Tabroom.com by 5 p.m. on January 10, 2020.

*All judges must have Tabroom.com accounts with cell phone numbers and email addresses. The accounts must be linked to your school.

* Please ask new judges to watch this 7-minute video showing them how to use electronic ballots. There are also general judging instructions in the sidebar on the right.

*When you enter your judges, be sure that you do so using the same email address that they use for their tabroom account. 

*Make sure that all judges know the email address and password for their Tabroom account.

This is sometimes a problem when coaches or students create a Tabroom account for a parent judge.

*Please instruct all judges to bring a fully charged device to use to complete their ballots.

They can bring a laptop, tablet, or smart phone. The first two are better because they are easier to enter text on, but it is possible to use a smart phone.

Please address these issues in advance of the tournament. Dealing with them on Saturday morning delays the start of the tournament, and causes everyone to go home later.

Please remind your novices that counterplans are not allowed in the novice division.

ON SITE REGISTRATION

You must check in by 8:00 AM to register your team. 

VOLUNTEERS

Per our league rules, each school is responsible for bringing one adult volunteer in addition to your judge quota. Please email us in advance to let us know the name of your volunteer, so we can discuss assignments.
