Welcome to the M and M Lake Erie Invitational, taking place on Saturday, November 2nd at Penn State Behrend in Erie, PA.

The tournament offers 4 pre-paired rounds in all events except CX (3 rounds): 

Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Original Oratory, Interpretation of Prose, Interpretation of Poetry, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, and Policy (CX) Debate and Student Congress

Double entry is permitted in DI, DUO, IMP, OO, PRO, and POE. NSDA Rules for all events except Prose and Poetry where PHSSL rules will guide. November debate resolutions.

Registration opens at 7:30 AM and closes at 8:30 AM. The Tournament will close with an awards ceremony at 4 PM. 

Judge quotas: Please provide 1 judge for every 5 entries in IE/Congress, 1 judge for every 2 LD, 2 PF, and 2 CX entries (or fraction thereof). 

Judges will be using online balloting for the competition and need to bring a device on which to connect to Tabroom and complete ballots. 

Entry fee for the tournament is $10 per student entry and included lunch. Please make checks payable to McDowell Speech and Debate. Double entered students are considered 2 entries.
