Greetings,

de Toledo High School cordially invites you to attend the Sixth Annual dTHS Debate Invitational, to be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

We will offer Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, and Parliamentary Debate.

LD uses the NSDA September/October topic (Resolved: In the United States, colleges and universities ought not consider standardized tests in undergraduate admissions decisions.)

PF uses the NSDA September/October topic (Resolved: The European Union should join the Belt and Road Initiative.)

Parli. uses a mix of fact, value, and policy topics. Our tournament uses Open Prep for Parli. (competitors may use the Internet during preparation time).

All events are double-flighted and have outrounds. All competitors are guaranteed three rounds of competition. We will thereby be able to accommodate a significant number of students in each event and provide an excellent competitive experience, all within the span of one day.

Registration opens on Monday, September 9. 

The registration deadline is Monday, November 4. 

The competitor add/drop deadline is Wednesday, November 6.

The judge entry deadline is Wednesday, November 6.
