4th Annual Young Genius Elementary and Middle School 
Congressional Debate Tournament

Young Genius Association is very excited to host its fourth annual Elementary and Middle School Congressional Debate Tournament. We are the 1st and one of the very few organizations that coordinate tournaments for younger competitors, and we invite all Congressional Debaters in the 3rd through 8th grades to attend!

Our tournament will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 505 East Charleston Road, Palo Alto, CA 94306. Your fees cover registration costs as well as lunch for all competitors, coaches, and chaperones.

9:50 - 10:00AM Team Registration

10:00 - 10:30AM Welcome Assembly

10:30AM - 12:00PM Round 1

12:00 - 12:30PM Pizza Lunch

12:30 - 2:00PM Round 2

2:30 - 4:00PM Round 3

4:30PM Award Ceremony

Middle school and elementary school students will be separated into different divisions and will only be debating with their own peers. Both divisions will debate a total of 3 rounds, one bill/resolution per round. Please see the Young Genius Congress Tournament Docket and Procedure Handbook for the tournament legislation and further rules.
