Novice Means?

NOVICE STUDENT CLASSIFICATION: 

A novice competitor is in his/her first year of high school competition...not first year competing in the event, but first year at a high school tournament. This means that the competitor should have had 0 NSDA points as of October 5^th.  Any student who is not in their first year of competition will be disqualified.  Please contact me if you have any other questions OR would request an exception.
