for the 2019 National Tournament

Debate coaches, please note: all Participating students MUST BE NSDA MEMBERS ON OR BEFORE December 30th, 2018.
NSDA membership fees must be paid to the NSDA on or before the morning of the competition. Please be sure to get your points recorded, and send the fees.
Be sure to download, print, and sign the School Consent Form and Single Entry letters under the "NSDA Forms" tab. You must bring these with you to the tournament. There is no need to send the forms in advance.
Policy Debate Schedule:
7:00 to 7:30 phone registration
8:00 – Round 1
10:00 – Round 2
12:30 – Round 3
2:45 – Round 4
5:00 – Round 5 (if needed)
LD and PF Debates Schedule:
8:00 to 8:30 phone registration
9:00 – Round 1
10:30 – Round 2
12:45 – Round 3
2:30 – Round 4
4:00 – Round 5 (if needed)

Fees: $25 per entry. Any uncovered judging obligations will be billed at a rate of $125 per judge.

(Please note, the address to which checks are to be sent has changed from previous years. Be sure to update the records with your school's business office.)
Judges: 1 judge per entry. NSDA rules require the use of 3 judge panels for all rounds once 8 or fewer competitors remain, requiring higher judge needs compared to the average tournament. If additional judges are available, please bring them. They will either be hired by the tournament or can be used to off-set any fees owed by your school.

3306 W. Michigan Street, Milwaukee, WI 53208
Buses: Drop off on Michigan Avenue (not Wisconsin Ave.) between 33rd and 34th Streets. Buses should not enter the parking lot or circle drive. Bus parking is available in the student lot on the southwest corner of 34th and Michigan. No entry at the Wisconsin Avenue doors.
Cars/Vans: Drop off in the circle drive on Michigan Avenue between 33rd and 34th. Park in the faculty/staff lot adjacent to the circle drive. Enter the school through the glass doors on the circle drive. No entry at the Wisconsin Avenue doors.
