*****PLEASE REVIEW THESE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS*****

1.     The HY19! Tournament is a “dress-down” tournament. What this means is simply that no competitor will be penalized for choosing to not wear suits or other formal clothing. All judges should refrain from judging competitors’ physical appearance and focus on executing an objective evaluation of competitors’ arguments, performances, and rhetoric.

2.     T-Shirts embracing the new tournament theme will be sold at the tournament. Prices and pre-order forms will be available soon.

3.     Please consider entering the unique events! Tournament: a) Argument and Advocacy in Art, Spoken-Word & Slam Poetry, and DDL Parli-Limited. See below for descriptions and information.

On behalf of Arkansas State University & the A-State Debate and Forensics Team, I am excited to invite you back to Northeast Arkansas for another HOWL of a tournament! The Third Annual HOWL YES! Tournament will take place Friday, March 8th & Saturday, March 9th on the Arkansas State University campus in Jonesboro, AR. As usual, our schedule is packed with more events, more cross-entry options, more hardware, and more great competition!
