Coaches,

           I am excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2018 Bruce Rogers' Speech and Debate Tournament at HCHS on September 8th.  Registration for all events is conveniently located at www.bruce.tabroom.com.  HCHS will be the site of ACT testing that weekend. Please register your students as early and accurately as possible as space may be limited.  Registration closes Thursday September 6, 2018 at 4:00pm. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.  My phone number is 478-227-6250.  My email address is james.brock@hcbe.net.  

            Each year, we strive to create an efficient, fair and exciting tournament.   If you register judges for any division, please make sure they have a tabroom.com account.  We would also prefer that all debate judges have a posted paradigm on the tabroom website.  

Tentative Schedule:

1) We will attempt to single flight and accelerate when possible. 

2) We may add a round 5 or an additional break depending on the size of the field in each event, and time constraints.

8:30 round 1 

10:30 round 2

Lunch after round 2

1:00 round 3

3:00 round 4 (VLD and VPF single flighted)

4:00 Round 5 NPF and NLD. 

4:15 Quarterfinals VLD, VPF and any I.E. final rounds.
