Welcome to the 2018 Holiday Havoc Invitational hosted by Columbia High School, Nampa.

We are excited and proud to announce that we have been selected as a NIETOC tournament bid site for this year!  We are also the second half of the Seasonal Swing for special recognition for schools that attended both the Canyon County Classic (Nampa H.S. on Nov 16 and 17).    

We will offer 4 preliminary rounds, plus a medal round, in all formats of debate (Policy, Lincoln-Douglas, and Public Forum Debate) in both Novice and Varsity divisions.  Debate will start Friday afternoon and run early Saturday morning.  We will also offer 3 prelim sessions of Congressional Debate, as well as Worlds School Debate and Big Questions Debate in the Varsity division only on Friday and Saturday, plus the Medal Round on Saturday in all these events.  If there are insufficient entries in any format or division, they will be collapsed or deleted. 

In speech, we will offer 3 preliminary rounds, plus a final round, in all 14 IHSAA events.  Students may triple enter, unless they are in a draw event (radio, extemp, retold) or panel and then they may double-enter.  The speech events will run on Saturday only.  If any event fails to reach a minimum number of entries the event may be collapsed or a final round may not be held in that event and/or division.  Speech events will be run in a varsity division only but we will recognize the top novices in all speech events (minimum 3).  

You will be required to provide 1 judge for every 6 speech entries.  In debate, you will need 1 judge for every 4 LD, PF, and Big Questions entries, and 1 for every 2 Policy or Worlds School Debate entries.
