2. All debates will use the standard 8-3-5 cross-examination format with 5 minutes prep time per team per round.

4. We will be following KSHSAA rules.

5. Cancellations will result in rescheduling, substitution of host teams, or byes.

5.     Mavericks are okay if that is your only option (only 1 per school) in order to keep the tournament running like a well-oiled machine. This will be at the director’s discretion.

6. Teams more than 10 minutes late to any round without the fault of the tournament may forfeit that round on a 7.

7. Registration fees will be $6.00 per team, or as you would charge per team at your tournament. Entry deadline is one week prior to the tournament date. Entries received after this time may be accepted at the host’s discretion. Fees will be forfeited in case of cancellation after the entry deadline, which is the Friday one week before the tournament.

8. Coaches and/or sponsors will be required to stand by for judging if necessary. We will try to get enough judges for the day.  We reserve the right to use 3rd or 4th year debaters as judges in novice division if necessary.

9. Sweepstakes trophies will be awarded to the first, second, and third place schools. Medals will be awarded to the teams that that are 8th place and up.

10.   Entries will be accepted on Tabroom.com. I am trying something new this year, so please bear with me as I navigate this new technology.
