All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void. Introduced by Kevin Sullivan, Delbarton SchoolA Bill to Recognize the Legitimacy of the Honduran Interim Government BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:SECTION 1.The government of the United States of America recognizes the legitimacy of the Republic of Honduras Interim Government and the removal of former Honduran President Manuel Zelaya.SECTION 2.“Recognizes” means that all diplomatic, political, military, and economic actions are carried out with the legitimate government of the Republic of Honduras, currently led by President Robert Micheletti.SECTION 3.The State Department of the United States of America will carry out this mandate.
