Event Description:
We follow CHSSA rules, unless we don't have any sign ups for the Presiding Officer contest. We search for some, and if that doesn't work we switch to NSDA rules. That means the PO is nominated from the students in the room. If you have students that are interested in trying to be the Presiding Officer, this is the tournament to try it. If your school is bring 6 or more students in Congress, please consider bringing some POs, for the experience or the gavel!
Breaks are determined by each student's total cumulative score, NOT by a certain number per chamber.
