Event Description:
The Novice division is for Freshman and Sophomore debaters only. Juniors who have never debated before may participate in Novice for their first tournament, but cannot qualify for State Finals. Juniors who have debated before and Seniors may not debate in Novice.
Teams consist of two debaters. However, you may enter a team with only one debater if you have a debater who does not have a partner. We will try to pair them with a single debater from another school on the morning of the tournament.
