Event Description:
1.Students are presented with prompts related to societal, political, historic or popular culture and, in 30 minutes, prepare a five-minute speech responding to the prompt.
2. Students may consult articles and evidence during the prep time that is run from a different location.
3. The speech is delivered from memory and up to 50 words of notes are allowed.
Maximum time, five minutes. No minimum.
