Event Description:
In Declamation, students present a memorized speech that must have been actually delivered in real life as a speech by a speaker other than the present contestant. Selections may include professional speeches, commencement addresses, public orations, eulogies, sermons, etc. The time limit is 10 minutes. Each contestant has a 30 second grace period if they run over the 10 minute mark.
