DCI Junior Varsity Division
Event Description:
DCI JV Division:
o No longer titled “Sophomores” – entry must consist of debaters in their first or second year of competition.
o Entries are capped at 24 and initially reserved for schools that have qualified to the DCI proper, a first entry will be awarded to each school before awarding second entries.
o This division will remain as a seven-round tournament – this leaves opportunities for students to see DCI elimination rounds while also giving them additional educational opportunities to debate a unique quantity of rounds.
