Event Description:
Open to all Alumni, judges and coaches, this is an open round of interpretation in which competitors will read their selections. Contestants may use material typically performed in Prose, Poetry, Play, DUO or Children’s Literature events. Selections should not be the performer’s original work. Contestants may not use material that they have previously used in forensics competition.We will run a final round if there are more than 6 entries.
Time limit: 6 minutes with a 30 second grace period.
Judging: Please designate at least one student from your team who is not in a draw event, PFD or Multiple to judge this round. Student judges should have at least 2 years of forensic experience. Send e-mail with the name(s) of students interested in judging to lisa@honeymath.org. (Since this round will run simultaneously with semi-finals, we will not be able to use students who break to semis as judges.)
