Event Description:
From the ASDA Speech & Debate Handbook, "Impromptu Speaking challenges a competitor’s ability to develop and present a structured speech with minimal preparation. The event focuses on quick thinking, organization, and persuasive communication" (23).
Students have 7 minutes to prepare and deliver a speech on one of three topics they're given.
