Event Description:
Radio Broadcasting
Radio Broadcasting is a public address event in which a competitor or competitors deliver a "Top-of-the-Hour" news broadcast in the style of their choosing. Competitors will receive a packet of news-like articles and requirements. Competitors are given 30-minutes to then design and prepare a five-minute broadcast that is unique while also completing the tasks given in the packet.
The event may be competed in alone or as a pair.
Judges are to listen ONLY. Judges are to face backwards when judging in order to only evaluate sound.
