Event Description:
The team will draw three topics and will have one minute to choose. They will place the unused topics back in the envelope. The team will have 7 minutes to prepare and perform a scene that develops the topic. The performance should have a beginning, middle and end. Each team can divide their preparation and performance time any way they choose. (For example, if they use 2 minutes to prepare, they will have 5 minutes to perform) Creativity, characterization and ensemble are encouraged. All dialogue should be appropriate. Blocking should be adjusted to creatively fit the performance space. Announcing the topic will serve as the introduction.
