Judging/Scoring
Points should be awarded for:
- How well the program/cutting tells the story presented
- Dynamics, speed, voices, etc that give it depth and create individual characters
- Usually a little more emotionally focused, less action focused, but can be either
- Actions/motions enhance the piece, not detract from it
Please be advised: Nationals timing is for 5 MINUTES - meaning that students will have to cut their piece down from 10 minutes to 5 minutes to take it to Nationals. Please focus your attention and notes on what parts might be better left out or truncated in revisions.
First place gets MOST speaker points, second place gets second most, etc.
