Event Description:
Students deliver a persuasive speech addressing a social, political, or environmental issue impacting the world. Students should state what they are advocating for, give several specific examples that exemplify this and offer possible solutions. No visual aids are permitted, and students may not assume an alternate persona.
Speech time should be 4-6 minutes.
Online competitors need to submit video recordings of their speeches 7 days ahead of competitions for Judges' decisions.
