Song Soliloquy:

(3 minute maximum with a 10 second grace period)

Do you have a song you relate to so much? Do you feel it on another level? Do you know all the lyrics? Perfect! Song Soliloquy is a unique event offered by RHS for all music lovers to enjoy! Your piece must include the lyrics of any song, without any words added. The lyrics cannot be rearranged, though cutting is permissible, and all must come from the original song. Your performance should begin by stating the name of the song and its creator and last up to 3 minutes, with a 10 second grace period. Performers are encouraged to use sincerity, emotion, and clarity. Feel free to play with the lyrics and tone! Make the happiest song ever extremely heartbreaking! Use your creativity! There's just one catch: no singing.
