Event Description:

This category gives the student an opportunity to present their own original prose in a program not to exceed six minutes. This is a reading event. The prose must be written by the contestant. The presentation may consist of one or more short stories, or a cutting from a longer story. Original Poetry is NOT allowed. Judges may comment on the content, as well as the presentation itself.Maximum Time: 6 minutes (30 seconds grace - no minimum time requirement)
