Event Description:
To join the novice league, the average age of all competitors on a team must be 12.9 years or younger. Additionally, all participants must be in their first year of debate, and can only have competed in a maximum of two prior tournaments. Any debate format counts towards this criteria, though there is no maximum limit in terms of Speech competition experience.
