This event is for high school speech competitors who have already earned their qual for States and are looking for an event to compete in just for fun.
Round 1: "From Memory" In this event, students will choose from three classic movie titles. They will have two minutes to prepare and then five minutes to present an interpretation of the movie from heart. (They are encouraged to play different characters and try to incorporate lines from the movie as best they can remember)
Round 2: "All Together Now" In this event, students will work together as a team. They will collectively choose from three classic movie titles. They will have five minutes to collaborate and then ten minutes to collectively present an interpretation of the movie from heart. (They are encouraged to play different characters and try to incorporate lines from the movie as best they can remember)
