Event Description:

World Schools will use three prepared topics- two in prelims and one in finals. We will use one Impromptu topic in prelim round 3, as well as in Semis if entries dictate we break to that.

Prepared topics:

To drastically decrease carbon dioxide produced by fossil fuels, this House would prioritize a carbon tax over incentivizing renewable energy

This House would ban high-fructose corn syrup.

On balance, this House cannot justify the use of conscious deception by law enforcement officers in the context of interrogation.
