Event Description:
Description: Broadcasting, also known as Radio, is a public address event in which a student prepares, in advance, a news script using up to date material. A popular event in Kentucky and North Carolina, we are excited to offer this event at a Georgia tournament. There is no requirement for particular types of stories to be included in the news script. The only requirement is that an introduction, a sign-off and a brief original commercial must be included in the broadcast.
Time Limit: Delivery of the script should last for three minutes, with a 15 second grace period.
