Event Description:
1. The purpose of this speech is to describe, clarify, explain, and/or define an object, idea or process. A demonstration is an acceptable form of expository: a “performance” is not.
2. Speech should be the original work of the speaker.
3. The speech may be delivered with or without notes.
4. Visual aids may be used, but are NOT REQUIRED.
5. The TIME LIMIT for this event is a maximum of 8 minutes with a 30 second grace period.
