Event Description:
NSDA rules for sourcing and composition will be followed.
Directions:
Students will compose and present an original speech of a persuasive nature. There is no limitation on the topic selected by the student. Students will be evaluated on the strength and originality of their analysis, including their support and organization, and also on the delivery of their material.
Speeches should be delivered from memory without the use of a manuscript. Movement is permitted during the speech.
Time Limit: 10 minutes (30 second grace period allowed)
