I am looking for competitors who speak clearly and present their material so that it can be uderstood easily. Those that speak too fast so that I can't follow will lose points in my book. Clever and original materials and presentations are my favorite. Have fun and be respectful.

Hi, I was a debater in high school but I focused on Speech events (IE, Oratory, Ect.) Though I did policy and congress as well. Now I am a Sexual Assault Program Coordinator at Safe Harbor Crisis Center in Davis county. My focus is on if your argument is comprehensive and presented well.

Debaters should state their arguments and framework clearly, and present their evidence and counter-evidence in a clear and logical manner.

Clean and clear speech, good tone and pacing will always win the day.

Must make the point clear, Why is the status quo wrong or right. If you have a piece of legislation you have to have a compelling reason why the status quo is not working, i.e. what are the harms.
