Extemp Guidelines: Internet usage is allowed during extemp prep however, no laptop, tablet or electronic device maybe used outside of the extemp prep room to give an extemp speech from during a competition round.
NO PHONES are allowed in extemp prep and students may not use their phones to write or give their speeches/outlines in round. However, a phone may be used to time oneself in round with the judges permission.
