FEES

The 2018 Glenbrooks fees are as follows:

Varsity Policy Debate -                                                                                  $120 per two-person team

Varsity LD Debate -                                                                                        $85 per debater

JV Policy RR -                                                                                     $120 per two-person team

Novice Policy RR                                                                                           $120 per two-person team

Varsity Public Forum Debate -                                                                  $100 per two-person team

Novice Public Forum Debate -                                                                   $75 per two-person team

JV LD Debate -                                                                                            $85 per debater

Congressional Debate -                                                                       $50 per entry

Individual Events -                                                                                          $60 per entry

Duo Interpretation -                                                                                       $120 per entry

Hired Judge Fee -                                           

$450 for full-time judge in VCX, VLD or PF.

Full judge fee of $450 to hire a judge for uncovered IE entries or Congress entries.

$225 for a half-time judge in VCX, VLD, PF, JVLD, JVCX, and NCX.  Tabroom will reflect these fees as, “$65/rd” in 7-round debate events and $75/rd” in 6-round debate events.  Jon will adjust these on the invoice of each team hiring judges so that no one is over-charged.  

Missing Judges: You will be charged $40 per round for every round one of your judges does not judge a round that person is supposed to.

Judge Name Fee: You will be charged $100 for needing to change the name of a judge, adding a judge, or dropping a judge in VCX, VLD, or VPF once pref and strikes sheets have become active. This policy is solely intended to make the sheets more accurate for students and easier to fill out.

Drop Penalty (after 5 pm CT on Oct 28^th) - Loss of original entry fee plus $20 per single event entry, i.e., LD, congress, or any IE except for Duo, or $20 for a double event entry, i.e., policy debate, public forum, and duo.  Please note that this is earlier than previous years.  In years past, we saw a massive amount of schools dropping entire entries on the last day.  It was impossible for schools on the waitlist to arrange reasonable transportation.

Judge Constraint Fee -- If you do not provide the correct information of which teams and/or specific contestants your judges cannot judge and we need to replace your judge as a result, we will charge you $40 per change.
